We make music because it’s the ultimate trip.

Turning a vision or an idea into a thing in the world, that exists, that makes people move, sing, cry, laugh, think, feel. It’s the thing that touches their soul.

But the people are secondary.
We do it because we must express the world within.

Since I started listening to electronic music, I was always curious—how do they do it? How do you take a variety of electronic sounds and textures and make them come together so beautifully? I had this dream of trying to create something myself, or at least to better understand the music—how it’s made, and what kind of knowledge an artist needs in order to produce electronic music at the highest level. I never really had a musical background, other than always loving to listen to music. That’s how I found Roman’s electronic music production course. In just 13 sessions of three hours each, we touched on nearly every relevant aspect of creating electronic music today. With every topic we learned, we created a short piece using the techniques we had studied up to that point. By the end of the course, all of us were already able to create a track that sounded good and musically solid! On top of that, today I listen to music in a completely different way. The learning experience with Roman was incredible—his knowledge of the subject is endless, and he also has an amazing ability to explain and teach. His practical teaching methods, and his guidance in bridging the gap we as students had with the technology of a program like Ableton, were invaluable. I went through a phenomenal experience: intense, packed, overwhelming, creatively shaking and active. My mind opened up, I want to scream, I can’t sleep at night, melodies are ringing, bass, drums, guitar—and I sing with joy. I took an Ableton course with Roman, coming in with no prior experience and very little musical background. We were a small group, and Roman taught us Ableton from scratch—with lots of patience, creativity, and engagement. Every week we left with assignments for the following week—tasks that were interesting, unique, and brought out the musical depth within each of us. Roman was always available to help us, and he truly guided us through a very special journey into the depths of the software and the world of creation. The time spent in the studio was unforgettable—like stepping into a submarine and diving deep into creativity. Moments where time disappeared, and I would always leave filled with energy, motivation, and inspiration.
